A synthetic peptide corresponding to the extracellular portion of human TNFR1 was used as immunogen.

WB: 1:500FC: 1:30. Tumor necrosis factor receptor 1 (TNFR1) is a receptor for tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF) a mulitifunctional proinflammatory cytokine. Produced in activated monocytes TNF has effects on lipid metabolism coagulation insulin resistance and endothelial function (1). TNFR1 is activated by binding to TNF- or homotrimeric lymphotoxin which leads to recruitment of caspase 8 to the activated receptor by FADD.
