This antibody detects a glycoprotein of 120kDa.

URO4 Storage

FACS: Use at a dilution of 1/1 - 1/10. ICC: Use at a dilution of 1/40. Fix for 10 minutes in 4C acetone. IHC-Fr: Use at a dilution of 1/40. Fix for 10 minutes in 4C acetone. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. The URO panel of antibodies was developed to immuno-anatomically dissect the nephron from glomerulus to bladder urothelium - these antibodies detect various cell surface antigens specific to segments of the renal tubule. Several have been shown to occur as tissue related markers of renal cancers. The URO4 antigen is the adenosine deaminase binding protein (ABP) and is found in proximal tubules a portion of Henle\' s loop placental trophoblasts and prostatic epithelium. URO4 is detected in most renal cell carcinomas. URO4 is not found in other carcinomas or in melanomas astrocytomas and sarcomas.
