Description	InvivoChem Cat #:V1101CAS #:94749-08-3 Purity >=98% Description: Salmeterol Xinafoate (GR-33343G, AHR-3929; AH-3923; Salmetedur, Serevent), the Xinafoate salt of Salmeterol, is a potent and long-acting beta2-adrenergic receptor agonist with anti-inflammatory effects. It activates beta2-adrenergic receptor with a Ki of 1.5 nM for WT beta2AR. Salmeterol is mainly used in the treatment of asthma and COPD-chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. These symptoms include shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing and chest tightness. Salmeterol is also used to prevent breathing difficulties during exercise (exercise induced bronchospasm).
