BMS-345541 HCl

Description:BMS-345541 HCl is a novel, cell-permeable and selective inhibitor of thecatalytic subunits of IKK-2 and IKK-1 with IC50 of 0.3 uM and 4 uM incell-free assays, respectively. In 4 human glioma cell lines, BMS-345541treatment significantly blocked cell proliferation (80%-95%) at theconcentration of 10 uM or higher and also inhibited IL-8 expression in adose dependent manner (IC50> 2 uM). And similar result of BMS-34551inhibition on IKK which induced cell apoptosis was verified in humanmelanoma cell lines SK-MEL-5, Hs 294T, and A375. KK is also known asnuclear factor kappa-B kinase subunit inhibitor and involves incytokine-activated intracellular signaling pathways.
