Supplied as a liquid in 10mM Tris, pH 8.0, 1mM EDTA.

Genomic DNAs are isolated from over 100 different human and fetal normal tissues, human diseased and tumor tissues, mouse, rat, monkey, plant and other tissues. Our genomic DNAs are provided ready to use. No longer will you need to acquire tissues and isolate genomic DNA by yourself. Genomic DNAs are isolated from tissues by proprietary modified guanidine thiocyanate techniques.

Quality Control:
1. Tested by spectrophotometer and electrophoresis. A260/280 = 1.8-2.0
(detected in 10mM Tris-Cl, pH 7.5)
2. RNase treatment to ensure the RNA contamination is eliminated.
3. HindIII digestion test: Successful.
4. PCR test: A specific fragment of actin gene, about 800bp, was successfully amplified from the genomic DNA.

Applications:
Suitable for use in SNP analysis, Southern Blot and PCR Genomic DNA library construction, Profiling study in gene expression.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
