AIVD Biotech
AVID BIOTECH INC. is an ISO 9001 certified biotech company based in Shenzhen, China. Founded in 2014, AVID BIOTECH specializes in the development and production of raw materials and IVD products. Examples include top quality OEM raw materials, antibodies, antigens, enzymes, reagents, kits, and crude sheets. The products are intended to serve applications in academic, (bio)pharmaceutical and diagnostic industries.
In-house developments
In order to meet the high demands on IVD products, AVID BIOTECH has developed proprietary processing techniques. The company already has several proprietary diagnostic products, one patented invention, and 12 patent applications still pending.
Laboratory
Their modern and fully equipped laboratory space of 3200 m2 is used for research and development of new products. Platforms for gene, protein and enzyme engineering are used on site. The constantly growing team consists of over 55 scientists with Master and/or Ph.D degrees.
Service
AVID BIOTECH's R&D center supports its customers in the development of point-of-care lateral flow assays, including colloidal gold-based assays, fluorescent signal and paramagnetic labeling, ELISA, chemiluminescent immunoassays, and molecular diagnostic assays.
The current research is focused on the biomedical field. This includes the Liquid Biopsy and Microfluidics platforms.

SARS-CoV-2
AVID BIOTECH offers many products related to SARS-CoV-2, including antibodies, antigens and antigen assays. Molecular biology products for SARS-CoV-2 detection kit production such as Hot Start Taq DNA polymerase, MMLV reverse transcriptase or RNasin inhibitor are also available.
Antibodies and antigens
A variety of raw materials are required for the production of immunoassays. AVID BIOTECH supplies the required raw materials, monoclonal antibodies and purified antibodies.

AVID BIOTECH offers products in various formats, small starting batches or for large production runs, in uncut or bulk form. OEM assembly and packaging are also available.
