Ossiform
Ossiform is a Danish company specialising in 3D printing of scaffolds for cell culture. The young company uses advanced 3D printing technologies to produce solutions for the cultivation of cells in 3D that support the natural self-organisation of cells. In close co-operation with leading research institutes and universities, the latest scientific findings are incorporated into product development. The company emphasises research and development in order to continuously develop new and improved solutions for 3D cell culture.
Ossiform's bioceramic 3D cell culture systems made from beta-tri-calcium phosphate can be used for cell and bacterial studies, tissue engineering, disease modelling and drug screening. The natural 3D printed structure is designed to mimic the architecture and complexity of bone tissue, allowing you to create more relevant tissue and disease models that capture the complex interplay between the different cells associated with bone. The scaffold can also be used to test new therapies in lifelike structures where blood flow is uneven with drugs and where bacteria and cancer cells can hide in pores. This enables more realistic tests that are more likely to provide reliable results when subsequently implemented. The scaffolds provide a clinically relevant cell culture system of natural materials and customised structures that can be used to create predictive research models of human physiology and pathology.
