VIDIA

VIDIA spol. s r.o. is a biotechnological company based in the Czech Republic, which was founded in 1991. The company is located in Vestec, near Prague, and employs between 25 and 49 people. VIDIA specialises in the production of in vitro diagnostic (IVD) kits for human medicine and environmental monitoring. VIDIA focuses mainly on immunoassays for clinical and research applications, including ELISA and immunofluorescence kits for the detection of antibodies against various viruses (such as Ebola virus, cytomegalovirus, herpes simplex virus and Ebstein-Barr virus) as well as rapid tests for the diagnosis of gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by, amongst others, bacteria and fungi.

The company places great emphasis on quality control; all products undergo multi-stage quality testing and are validated in national reference laboratories. VIDIA is ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified and all IVD products carry the CE mark.
