Introduction	Insulin decreases blood glucose concentration. It increases cell permeability to monosaccharides, amino acids and fatty acids. It accelerates glycolysis, the pentose phosphate cycle, and glycogen synthesis in liver.
Description	These clones have been derived from hybridization of X63-Ag8-653 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunised with purified human insulin.
Physical Appearance	Sterile Filtered solution.
Purity	is tested by electrophoresis.
