Introduction	Vaspin (visceral adipose-specific SERPIN), a newly identified adipokine, which is a member of serine protease inhibitor family. Vaspin is also a unique insulin sensitizing adipocytokine in obesity. A recent publication indicates that induction of human vaspin mRNA expression in adipose tissue is regulated in a fat depot-specific manner and could be associated with parameters of obesity, insulin resistance, and glucose metabolism.
Description	Vaspin Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, His Tag, polypeptide chain containing 415 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 47 kDa. The Vaspin is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Source	Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance	Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Formulation	Vaspin in 20mM Tris pH-8, 0.2mM PMSF and 10% glycerol.
Purity	Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Storage	Liquid Vaspin although stable at 10C for 1 week, should be stored below -18C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
