Introduction	PCYT2 is a member of the cytidylyltransferase family. PCYT2 is an enzyme which catalyzes the formation of CDP-ethanolamine from CTP and phosphoethanolamine in the Kennedy pathway of phospholipid synthesis. PCYT2 has the strongest expression in the liver, heart, and skeletal muscle.
Description	PCYT2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 409 amino acids (1-389) and having a molecular mass of 45.9kDa. PCYT2 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Source	Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance	Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Formulation	The PCYT2 solution (0.25mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 20% glycerol, 0.1M NaCl, 1mM DTT and 0.1mM PMSF.
Purity	Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Storage	Store at 4C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
