Introduction	FKBP2 is part of the immunophilin protein family, which takes part in immunoregulation and basic cellular processes involving protein folding and trafficking. FKBP2 is a cis-trans prolyl isomerase that binds the immunosuppressants FK506 and rapamycin. FKBP2 functions as an ER chaperone and as a component of membrane cytoskeletal scaffolds.
Description	FKBP2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 122 amino acids (22-142 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 13.4 kDa. The FKBP2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Source	Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance	Sterile Filtered clear colorless solution.
Formulation	The FKBP2 solution contains 20mM Tris-HCl pH-8, 1mM DTT, and 10% glycerol.
Purity	Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Usage	ProSpec's products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.

Storage	Store at 4C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
