Introduction	Endophilin-B1 (SH3GLB1) is a part of the endophilin family and highly expresses in heart, skeletal muscle, kidney and placenta. Endophilin B1 belongs to the B subgroup of the endophilin family which is needed for preservation of mitochondrial morphology and for the regulation of the outer mitochondrial membrane dynamics. SH3GLB1 is required for normal outer mitochondrial membrane dynamics. Furthermore, SH3GLB1 is required for coatomer-mediated retrograde transport in certain cells. SH3GLB1 interacts with SH3GLB2 and Bcl-2-associated X protein and involved in regulating apoptotic signaling pathways.
Description	SH3GLB1 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 373 amino acids (1-365) and having a molecular mass of 41.9 kDa. SH3GLB1 is fused to 8 amino acid His-tag at C-terminus purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance	Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Formulation	The SH3GLB1 solution (1mg/1ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.1M NaCl, 10% glycerol and 2mM DTT.
Purity	Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Storage	Store at 4C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
