Introduction	Cadherin 11 (CDH11) belongs to the cadherin superfamily (integral membrane proteins) which mediate calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion. CDH11 is defined based on lacking a HAV cell adhesion recognition sequence specific to type I cadherins. CDH11 proteins expression in osteoblastic cell lines, and its upregulation during differentiation, suggests a specific function in bone development and maintenance. CDH11 contributes to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types.
Description	CDH11 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 601 amino acids (54-617 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 66.2kDa. CDH11 is fused to a 37 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance	Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Formulation	CDH11 protein solution (1mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol and 0.1M NaCl.
Purity	Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Storage	Store at 4C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
