Introduction	SCG5 also called 7B2 protein is localized in neuroendocrine tissues. SCG5 functions as a chaperone protein for the proprotein convertase PC2 and is essential for the production of an active PC2 enzyme.
Description	SCG5 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 195 amino acids (27-212 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 22 kDa. SCG5 is fused to a 8 amino acid His tag at C-terminus and purified by standard chromatography techniques.
Source	Escherichia Coli.
Formulation	FABP3 His-Tag 0.5mg/ml protein solution is supplied in 20mM Tris-HCl pH-8, 0.1mM PMSF, 1mM DTT, 0.1M NaCl and 20% glycerol.
Purity	Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
