Introduction	L-lactate dehydrogenase (lldD) is present in a various organisms, including plants and animals. lldD is an oxidoreductase which catalyses the interconversion of pyruvate and lactate with concurrent interconversion of NADH and NAD+. Seeing that lldD can catalyze the oxidation of hydroxybutyrate, it is occasionally called Hydroxybutyrate Dehydrogenase (HBD).
Description	lldD E.Coli Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 420 amino acids (1-396) and having a molecular mass of 45.3kDa. lldD is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance	Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Formulation	The lldD solution (1mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol and 1mM DTT.
Purity	Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Storage	Store at 4C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
