Description	LMW Kininogen is involved in blood presure regulation since it is an endogenous protein substrate for tissue kallikrein. Proteolytic cleavage by kallikrein releases vasoactive bradykinin from LMW kininogen. In addition, LMW kininogen, like HMW kininogen, is a major extracellular cysteine proteinase inhibitor.
