Introduction	Tubulin Polymerization Promoting Protein (TPPP) probably plays a part in the polymerization of tubulin into microtubules, as well as in microtubule bundling and the stabilization of existing microtubules, thus maintaining the integrity of the microtubule network. TPPP may also have a role in mitotic spindle assembly and nuclear envelope breakdown. TPPP/p235 level in cerebrospinal fluid is considerably higher in multiple sclerosis patients.
Description	TPPP Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 229 amino acids including a 10 a.a N-terminal His tag. The total molecular mass is 24.9kDa (calculated).
Source	Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance	Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Formulation	TPPP filtered (0.4 um) and lyophilized from 0.5mg/ml in 0.05M phosphate buffer and 0.075M NaCl, pH 7.4.
Purity	Purity as determined by densitometric image analysis is greater than 85%.

Storage	Store lyophilized protein at -20C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4C for a limited period of time, it does not show any change after two weeks at 4C.
