Mouse immunoglobulins G quantification kit

The widespread use of hybridoma technology for the production of mouse monoclonal antibodies has created the need for a fast and simple procedure for quantifying antibody production in vitro (culture supernatant) or in vivo (ascites). An accurate determination of immunoglobulin levels a hybridoma-culture supernatant is essential to study the effect of drugs or physical parameters on hybridoma growth, or the level of immunoglobulin secretion. This kit can be used for the quantitative determination of mouse IgG in hybridoma supernatants and ascites. The intensity of the signal is independent of the IgG subclass. IgG3 quantification requires a specific standard curve. Also available is a ready-to-use ELISA-based assay for the rapid characterisation of mouse monoclonal isotypes in cell culture supernatants or purified antibody preparations.
