Description: Sodium Danshensu (Danshensu Sodium), the sodium salt of danshensu, is a novel, potent, naturally occuring phenolic acid of caffeic acid derivatives isolated from Salvia miltiorrhiza with various biological activity (e.g, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory). Sodium Danshensu is a mono sodium of danshensu which is a compound isolated from Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. Danshensu is an efficient radical scavenger and antioxidant which exhibits higher scavenging activities against free hydroxyl radicals, superoxide anion radicals.
