It is 4-fold less potent than ponatinib. Ponatinib (AP24534) is a BCR?ABL tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) approved by FDA for the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and Philadelphia chromosome–positiveacute lymphoblastic leukemia in patients resistant or intolerant to prior TKIs.
