Description	InvivoChem Cat #:V1212CAS #:190786-44-8Purity >=98% Description: Bepotastine besilate (bepotastine besylate; TAU-284; TAU284; Bepreve; Talion), the besylate salt of Bepotastine, is a 2nd generation, non-sedating, and selective antagonist of histamine 1 (H1) receptor with a pIC50 of 5.7. Bepostatine besilate has been approved to treat allergic rhinitis and urticaria and pruritus. Bepotastine besilate inhibits the action of histamine by blocking histamine H1 receptors, antagonising the vasoconstrictor, and to a lesser extent, the vasodilator effects of histamine. Mast cell stabilisers inhibit degranulation and consequently the release of histamine by interrupting the normal chain of intracellular signals. The brand of Bepostatine besilate is Talion.
