Description: kb NB 142-70 is a novel, potent and selective PKD (protein kinase D) inhibitor with IC50s of 28.3, 58.7 and 53.2 nM for PKD1, PKD2, and PKD3, respectively. kb NB 142-70 has potential antitumor activity. Protein kinase D (PKD) has been implicated in a wide range of cellular processes and pathological conditions including cancer. However, targeting PKD therapeutically and dissecting PKD-mediated cellular responses remains difficult due to lack of a potent and selective inhibitor. kb NB 142-70 prevents wound-induced migration of intestinal epithelial cells.
