Description	InvivoChem Cat #:V3484CAS #:300657-03-8 Purity >=98% Description: BMS-309403 is a novel, potent, selective and cell-permeable inhibitor of fatty acid binding protein 4 (FABP4) with a Ki of less than 2 nM. BMS-309403 decreases fatty acid uptake in adipocytes in vitro and reduces atherosclerotic lesion area in a mouse model of atherosclerosis. The beneficial effect of BMS309403 on UK14304-induced relaxations was attenuated by Pertussis toxin. In cultured human microvascular endothelial cells, lipid-induced A-FABP expression was associated with reduced phosphorylated eNOS and NO production and was reversed by BMS309403.
