Superffin Tissue Infiltration & Embedding Medium is a custom blend of highly purified paraffin and plastic polymers mixed in a ratio balance optimal for both infiltration and embedding. It can be used as a stand alone single paraffin of 2 in 1. *Sturdy on the waterbath*. Melting point: 56 C-58 C It produces ultra-thin compression free ribbons with even thickness and the sections can be cut as thin as 2 um thick. Superffin provides excellent support for all types of tissue samples while maintaining exceptional clarity. Instruction for Use: Recommended infiltration temperature is 60-62 C. Range of infiltration time is 2-4 hours. Two changes of paraffin for infiltration is recommended. Longer (overnight) infiltration has been tested at 62 C and it has no effects on quality of tissue sections. Cooling temperature during embedding is 0 to -4 C. Block temperature for cutting can range from room temperature to 4 C. Water bath temperature should be 40-45 C. Size: 1 kg/bag
