Description	Furosemide is a loop diuretic inhibitor of Na+/2Cl-/K+ (NKCC) cotransporter. Furosemide acts as a non-competitive antagonist at GABAA receptors with ca. 100-fold greater selectivity for alpha6-containing receptors than alpha1-containing receptors.
