Interleukin-10, 19-178aa, Human, His-Tagged, Recombinant, E.coli

Interleukin-10 (IL 10) is also known as human cytokine synthesis inhibitory factor (CSIF) and inhibits the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines like IFN-gamma, IL2, IL3, TNF and GM-CSF produced by activated macrophages and by helper T-cells. This protein has effects in immunoregulation and inflammation and down-regulates the expression of Th1 cytokines, MHC class II antigens, and costimulatory molecules on macrophages. Recombinant IL10 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and was purified by conventional chromatography techniques.

Can be stored at +4C short term (1-2 weeks). For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C or -70C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
