Immunogen: Recombinant human GRK2
Preparation: This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells) from a mouse immunized with recombinant human GRK2 (G protein-coupled receptor kinases 2). GRK2 is a member of the beta ARK subfamily and was originally termed beta-adrenergic receptor kinase 1 (beta-ARK1).
Formulation and Storage: The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from the date of receipt when stored at -70C
Specificity: This antibody recognizes human GRK2 in direct ELISAs and WBs. It cross reacts with mouse and rat GRK2 in WBs.
Reconstitution: Reconstitute the antibody with 500ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 200ug/ml. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20 for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
