Acetaminophen metabolite 3-hydroxy-acetaminophen can reduce oxidative damage by exerting electron donation ability and antioxidant activity through phenolic hydroxyl groups. 3-hydroxy-acetaminophen can be used to study the toxicity mechanism and drug metabolism of acetaminophen[1][2].
