Description	InvivoChem Cat #:V1488CAS #:110078-46-1 Purity >=98% Description: Plerixafor (formerly known as SDZ-SID-791; JLK-169; SID-791; AMD3100, AMD-3100, JM-3100, JM 3100; trade name Mozobil), the so called 'hematopoeitic stem cell mobilizer', is a novel and potent chemokine receptor antagonist for CXCR4 and CXCL12-mediated chemotaxis with an IC50 of 44 nM and 5.7 nM in cell-free assays, respectively. Plerixafor is a bicyclam with hematopoietic stem cell-mobilizing activity and has been approved as an immunostimulant to mobilize hematopoietic stem cells in cancer patients into the bloodstream. Plerixafor blocks the binding of stromal cell-derived factor (SDF-1alpha) to the cellular receptor CXCR4, resulting in hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) release from bone marrow and HSC movement into the peripheral circulation.
