Description	DMT cuts the sequence GA_mTC (where A is methylated) but does not cut the sequence GATC (where A is not methylated). This enzyme can cut DNA prepared from the most commonly used E. coli strains (dam⁺ strain), but does not cut PCR products. This product is suitable for use in in vitro site-directed DNA mutagenesis, and degradation of methylated plasmid templates.Restriction site: CH₃ \|↓ 5' GA\|TC 3' 3' CT\|AG 5' ↑ \| CH₃
