Manufacturer - Applications	Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB (1:500-1:2000), IHC-P (1:100-1:300), ELISA (1:20000). Not yet tested in other applications.

Storage Conditions	Stable for one year at -20C from date of shipment. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Background	SLC25A12 encodes a calcium-binding mitochondrial carrier protein. The encoded protein (solute carrier family 25 member 12) localizes to the mitochondria and is involved in the exchange of aspartate for glutamate across the inner mitochondrial membrane. Polymorphisms in this gene may be associated with autism, and mutations in SLC25A12 may also be a cause of global cerebral hypomyelination. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for SLC25A12.
