Important Comments: This antibody is expected to recognize both reported isoforms (NP_001867.2; NP_001027017.1) but is not expected to recognise CPT1B.
Purification: Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Supplied As: lyophilized powder of 50ug or 100ug IgG; Reconsititute IgG with 100ul or 200ul sterile DI Water and final product will be formulated as 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20C. Minimize freezing and thawing.
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1 to 128000.
Western Blot: Approx 80kDa band observed in Human Liver lysates (calculated MW of 86.2kDa according to NP_001027017.1). Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3ug/ml.
Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded Human Kidney shows mitochindrial staining in PCT. Recommended concentration: 4-6ug/ml. Paraffin embedded Human Heart. Recommended concentration: 4ug/ml.
