Immunogen: Recombinant human AMPK beta 2
Preparation: This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells) from a rat immunized with recombinant human AMPK (AMP­activated protein kinase) beta 2. AMPK beta 2 is a heterotrimeric complex consisting of a catalytic alpha subunit and regulatory beta and gamma subunits.
Formulation and Storage: The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from the date of receipt when stored at -70C
Specificity: This antibody recognizes human AMPK beta 2 in direct ELISAs and WBs. It cross reacts with mouse AMPK beta 2 protein in WBs
Reconstitution: Reconstitute the antibody with 500ull sterile PBS and the final concentration is 200ug/ml. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20 for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
