Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized UMOD although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution UMOD should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: The UMOD protein was lyophilized from 0.4um filtered solution at a concentration of 0.6mg/ml containing deionized water. Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Application:
Solubility: Add deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5mg/mL and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. Product is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.
