Activin A human Recombinant produced in Nicotiana benthamiana plant is a disulfide-linked homodimers of two betaA chains, each containing 116 amino residues (molecular formula C600H911N173O174S13) and 6-His-tag at the N-terminal having the total molecular mass of 27.4kDa.

Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized Activin A although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution Activin A should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: Lyophilized from 1mg/ml solution in Tris HCl 0.05M buffer at pH 7.4. Greater than 97.0% as determined by Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Activin A in sterile 18M?-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
