Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized M-CSF although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution MCSF should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: The protein was lyophilized with 0.5xPBS, pH 8.0. Greater than 98.0% as determined by:(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized M-CSF in sterile 18MO-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity: The ED50, as calculated by the dose-dependant stimulation of the proliferation of murine M-NFS-60 indicator cells is typically 1.1-1.6ng/ml corresponding to 909, 090-625, 000 U/mg.
