Epidermal Growth Factor Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 53 amino acids including 3 intramolecular disulfide-bonds and having a molecular mass of 6 kDa.The EGF is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized Epidermal Growth Factor Recombinant although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution EGF should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: The protein was lyophilized with no additives. Greater than 98.0% as determined by:(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Epidermal Growth Factor in sterile 18MO-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity: The activity is determined by the dose-dependent proliferation of mouse BALB/c 3T3 cells and is typically less than 0.1ng/ml.
