FGF4 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 182 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 19.8kDa. The FGF4 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized FGF4 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution FGF-4 should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: The FGF4 protein was lyophilized with 2xPBS, pH 7.4. Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized FGF4 Human Recombinant sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity: The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of thymidine uptake by BaF3 cells expressing FGF receptors is < 0.5ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 2, 000, 000units/mg.
