Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized GH although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution Somatotropin should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: The Growth-hormone (1 mg/ml) was lyophilized after extensive dialyses against 0.34 mg sodium phosphate buffer (0.02 mg sodium phosphate monobasic & 0.32 mg sodium phosphate dibasic). Greater than 98.0% as determined by:(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Application:
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized pST in sterile 18MO-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
