PEDF Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 400 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 44.5 kDa. The Human PEDF is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized PEDF although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution PEDF Human should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: The sterile filtered concentrated (1mg/ml) protein solution was lyophilized with 20mM sodium phosphate buffer & 150mM NaCl pH-7.4. Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized PEDF in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
