Description
Our Anti-THAP1 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N325B/65. It detects human THAP1, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in ICC, WB.
Target Description
THAP (Thanatos-associated protein) domain-containing, apoptosis-associated protein 1)domain-containing protein 1, Nuclear Proapoptotic Factor or Dystonia 6, Torsion (Autosomal Dominant) is encoded by the gene THAP1. THAP1 is a DNA-binding transcription regulator involved in endothelial cell proliferation, G1/S cell-cycle progression and is thought to play a role in apoptosis. Thap1 is expressed in many tissues including heart, skeletal muscle, kidney, liver, brain and placenta. Diseases associated with this gene include Dystonia.

1 mg/mL
Form
Purified by Protein A chromatography
Buffer
10 mM Tris, 50 mM Sodium Chloride, 0.065% Sodium Azide pH 7.125
Production Notes
Produced by in vitro bioreactor culture of hybridoma line followed by Protein A affinity chromatography. Purified mAbs are >90% specific antibody.
Quality Control
Each new lot of antibody is quality control tested on cells overexpressing target protein and confirmed to give the expected staining pattern.
