Description	Our Anti-Kir6.2 potassium channel mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N363/71. It detects mouse and rat Kir6.2 potassium channel, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC.
Target Description	ATP-sensitive inward rectifier potassium channel 11 or Kir6.2 is encoded by the gene KCNJ11. Kir6.2 is an integral membrane protein which has a greater tendency to allow potassium to flow into a cell rather than out of a cell, is controlled by G-proteins. Kir6.2 has broad expression in many tissues including brain, heart, pancreas (beta cells) and thyroid. Diseases associated with this gene include several forms of diabetes.
