Description	Our Anti-MMP9 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone L51/82. It detects human, mouse, and rat MMP9, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC, IP, WB.
Target Description	Matrix Metallopeptidase 9 is encoded by the gene MMP9. MMP9 is a member of the peptidase M10A family. MMP9 may play a role in local proteolysis of the extracellular matrix, leukocyte migration, and bone osteoclastic resorption. MMP9 cleaves type IV and V collagen into large C-terminal three quarter fragments and shorter N-terminal one quarter fragments. MMP9 is expressed in neutrophils. Diseases associated with MMP9 include Metaphyseal Anadysplasia 2 and Metaphyseal Anadysplasia.
