Description
Our Anti-Nav1.4 sodium channel mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N255/38. It detects rat Nav1.4 sodium channel, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC, WB.
Target Description
Sodium channel subunit beta-1or Navbeta1 Na+ channel is encoded by SCN1B. Voltage gated sodium channels are made up of an alpha (pore forming) subunit and 1 or 2 beta subunits. SCN1B has two splice variants. Navß1 is a transmembrane protein and acts as a regulatory subunit in excitable membranes and modulates the kinetics of channel inactivation. It is found expressed in brain, spinal cord, heart and skeletal muscle. Diseases associated with SCN1B include several types of epilepsy.
Clonality
Monoclonal
Manufacturer - Specificity
No cross-reactivity reported
Concentration
1 mg/mL
Form
Purified by Protein A chromatography
Buffer
10 mM Tris, 50 mM Sodium Chloride, 0.065% Sodium Azide pH 7.125
Production Notes
Produced by in vitro bioreactor culture of hybridoma line followed by Protein A affinity chromatography. Purified mAbs are >90% specific antibody.
Quality Control
Each new lot of antibody is quality control tested on cells overexpressing target protein and confirmed to give the expected staining pattern.
