Description
Our Anti-Cavß3 calcium channel mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N473/36. It detects human, mouse, and rat Cavß3 calcium channel, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in ICC, WB.
Target Description
Voltage-dependent L-type calcium channel subunit beta-3 or Cav ß3 is encoded by the gene CACNB3. Cavß3 is a cytoplasmic subunit of voltage-sensitive calcium channels. These channels facilitate entry of calcium ions into excitable cells are involved in a variety of calcium dependent processes, including neurotransmitter release, muscle contraction, and gene expression. Cav ß3 is expressed in brain, colon and ovary. Diseases associated with this gene include Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome.
Clonality
Monoclonal
Manufacturer - Specificity
Does not cross-react with Cavbeta1, Cavbeta2 or Cavbeta4
Concentration
1 mg/mL
Form
Purified by Protein A chromatography
Buffer
10 mM Tris, 50 mM Sodium Chloride, 0.065% Sodium Azide pH 7.125
Production Notes
Produced by in vitro bioreactor culture of hybridoma line followed by Protein A affinity chromatography. Purified mAbs are >90% specific antibody.
Quality Control
Each new lot of antibody is quality control tested by western blot on rat whole brain lysate and confirmed to stain the expected molecular weight band.
Quality Control: Application
WB Brain
