Recombinant full length Human Integrin alphaV.

The integrin family contains at least 18 alpha and 8 beta subunits that form 24 known integrins with distinct tissue distribution and overlaping ligand specificities. Integrins not only transmit signals to cells in response to the extracellular environment (outside-in signaling), but also sense intracellular cues to alter their interaction with extracellular environment (inside-out signaling).Several alphaV subfamily members, including alphaVbeta3, alphaVbeta5, alphaVbeta1, are highly expressed in active endothelial cells and cancer cells where they play a critical role in angiogenesis and tumor metastasis.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
