Supplied as a liquid in 10mM sodium HEPES, pH 7.5, 150mM sodium chloride, 0.1mg/ml BSA, <0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.

The discoidin domain receptors (DDRs) are receptor tyrosine kinases with a discoidin homology repeat in their extracellular domains, activated by binding to extracellular matrix collagens. So far, two mammalian DDRs have been identified: DDR1 and DDR2. They are widely expressed in human tissues and may have roles in smooth muscle cell-mediated collagen remodeling. Aberrant expression and signaling of DDRs have been implicated in human disease related to increased matrix degradation and remodeling, such as cardiovascular disease, liver fibrosis,
and tumor invasion.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunocytochemistry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunofluorescence (IF-IC): 1:1600-1:3200
Western Blot: 1:1000 Incubate membrane with diluted antibody in 5% BSA, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight.
Immunoprecipitation: 1:100
Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:3200-1:12, 800 using citrate buffer retrieval.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
