Highly purified, recombinant Interleukin-4 (IL-4)

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
ELISA (sandwich): 0.25-1ug/ml (100ul/well) in conjunction with I8426-12 as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant rat IL-4.
Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant rat IL-4 is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Reconstitution:
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
