Storage Conditions	anti-CD71 In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (T56/14) is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.

Antigen Distribution	The transferrin receptor is a cell surface glycoprotein related to cell proliferation. Up-regulation of the CD71 antigen is associated with actively dividing cells. Transferrin receptors are also present on reticulocytes, but are lost during maturation into erythrocytes.
Application Notes	Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
Background	Anti-transferrin receptor may be used to identify activated lymphocytes. The CD71 antibody may be used in studies of erythropoiesis.
